How did we get here?

Founder / DIRECTOR

David Talamelli is our APAC Talent Acquisition Director. David is a Talent Acquisition Leader in the APAC Region with deep experience in delivering successful TA/Recruitment/Employer Branding solutions across the region for a range of customers and clients. David has gained an in-depth knowledge of industry leading Recruitment Practices across the Asia Pacific region over the past 20 years and can apply these practices to help deliver the best people results for you.
 
David has hired for and built teams at organisations such as Hewlett Packard, Oracle and LivePerson. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Laurentian University and also a Post Graduate Degree in Human Resources from Monash University. In his work, David has developed a complete view of the rapidly changing recruitment environment. He is able to advise on various strategies such as candidate attraction, online sourcing, employment branding and search and selection.

To get a positive outcome of any hiring campaign or activity, we need to start with the right building blocks and plan on how to get to that end outcome (hires for your company).

David will work with your business to help create a detailed plan of the hiring journey for your assignment. We will work out and agree on timeframes, activities undertaken and action items to ensure your hiring efforts are successful.

David will work to understand the specifications of the role(s) you are looking to hire for and the unique attraction points of your business to create a strong value proposition for potential candidates to consider when approached about your opportunity. 

David will work with you to create an ideal candidate profile as well as work on a targeted search and selection process where needed to tap into the hidden job market.

 

David has been recruiting Business and IT Professionals  in the ANZ and APAC for 20+ years. He has conducted numerous market mapping activities and is connected to a deep network of talented individuals at all levels of seniority.

David will utilise his experience to proactively build a talent pipeline for your business. We will work together to understand the key target companies in your industry and run a targeted search and selection exercise.

With a strong candidate value proposition created from the planning stage, David will be able to take your opportunity to the market with confidence and attract the people you want to interview.

Our goal is to deliver a qualified candidate pipeline as quickly as possible and with a laser focus on engaging the right talent, we will do that for you.

The interview process is a critical piece in the overall hiring process. It is not only an opportunity for you to find out more about a candidate and their capability but also the opportunity for a candidate to find out more about your organisation and if you are a fit for them.

David will work to ensure that you have the capability to run a successful interview process.

We want to ensure that your business is evaluating candidates based on their capability or potential to perform a role and not evaluating them in comparison to others. We have seen an uptake in education around Unconscious Bias which David can assist with.

For Executive Searches, David can help with qualification and presentation plans as part of this process.

When you have identified a candidate that you would like to make an offer to, David will work with you on the best way to present this offer to the candidate and also work on any contingencies that may occur.

Patience is an important part of this step of the process. Candidates take their career seriously and want to make informed and educated decisions about which company they join. David will help package up and present the information that the candidate needs to move forward. 

 

Once a candidate has accepted an offer from you, we do not close the process here.

It can be difficult for candidates to give notice to their current employer. David will work with the candidate to help through this as needed.

He will also help where and as needed with onboarding and communication between the time the candidate accepts your offer and starts with you. Once the candidate has started work with your organisation, David will follow up with both you and the candidate at regular intervals to ensure you are both settling into your new working relationship.
